Still Life Photo Project

 

These are photos of all of the clocks I have seen around Osaka in Japan compiled into one blog. Each of these photos come from different areas of Osaka, such as train stations, parks, stores, and more. The clocks in this photo project are meant to symbolize time passing as my vacation in Japan slowly comes to an end. Every time I see clocks, I get reminded of the limited time I have left to enjoy spring break in Osaka.

The type of photography I chose for this open project was candid photography. It’s not something we always think about, but the world is a huge place with lots of different people and personalities. As we journey through life, we inevitably encounter people whose lives are vastly different from our own. However, whenever we see them we only get to see a tiny glimpse of their lives. At the beginning of every day, many people like custodians head on to work early to keep their workplace clean enough for others to work in. Teachers head to school to work on creating lessons to educate the future generations.
