Open Photo Project: Candid Photography

The type of photography I chose for this open project was candid photography. It’s not something we always think about, but the world is a huge place with lots of different people and personalities. As we journey through life, we inevitably encounter people whose lives are vastly different from our own. However, whenever we see them we only get to see a tiny glimpse of their lives.

At the beginning of every day, many people like custodians head on to work early to keep their workplace clean enough for others to work in.

Teachers head to school to work on creating lessons to educate the future generations.

In their free time, some students like to dance in front of their friends.

Others spend time reading, ignoring the commotion around them.

Others prefer to peacefully sit in the corner doing their work.

Some other students like to develop their musical talents, filling the room with the strum of their guitar.

Some people willingly play the guitar in front of their class.

While some present their ideas to their class.

Others playfully chat with their friends while sipping their favorite drink.

Rooms are oftentimes filled with laughter as people joke around with each other.

Others engage in fun conversations, talking about the entertaining parts of their lives.

In the midst of all of this happening, some students tutor their friends.

Others like to spend their time procrastinating right before their school day ends.

Once the weekend rolls around, people spread out to do other activities besides work and school. Some wash their clothes, preparing for the next week.

Children follow their parents as they go for walks such as participating in walkathons.

Others like to vlog their life experiences.

During festivities, many people such as students spend their time assisting booths.

Others would rather join in on the festivities and play games such as mini golf.

Some provide drinks and smoothies to those participating in the events.

Others, however, prefer to wait on the side for their child to finish playing.
