High school students each have their own busy lives with a variety of activities. From the morning hours until afternoon, hundreds of students work in school, dealing with everything from assignments to personal interests.
A few students tend to procrastinate and leave their assignments unfinished until their free time in homeroom the same day it is due. Despite the stress it may cause, many students find more pleasure in delaying their homework until the last minute. However, as long as the work is submitted on time, many people don't see the harm in it.
During homeroom, while some students use the time to catch up on their assignments, others like to do other things. It's not uncommon to see students doodling on the board, displaying their drawings to the entire class. People always find it more refreshing to take a break from work and have fun.
As the morning homeroom period comes to a close, students head into their first block classes. With their computers out, students take their computers out and start doing their work. For many, finishing their work on time becomes their top priority to avoid having homework.
In other classrooms, students like to work with each other to complete a variety of assignments. While some students like to work in silence, others would rather have conversations with their classmates while finishing up their work. They all work with a balance between talking and focusing on completing their individual work.
As the bell rings, students quickly make their way to the cafeteria to enjoy their much anticipated lunch break. Lunchtime is a great time to recharge their energy before their next set of classes. Some students eat peacefully while others engage in laughter-filled conversations.
While some students use their lunch break to enjoy their meals, others would rather skip their lunch in order to play their favorite sport. Many students can be seen playing around the volleyball nets set up around the school, even under the scorching heat of the sun.
In addition to sports and other physical activities, students may also find joy in competing with one another over board games during their free time. For instance, some students play competitive and strategic battles of chess which are great ways to socialize with each other.
While others like to spend time in the cafeteria or do other activities during lunch, some like to spend their time in solitude at the library. With the wide array of books, one could never bore themselves out.
During their classes, some students who have already completed their assigned work use their free time to work on projects for other classes. This involves activities like sewing flags for their JROTC class during an English block, like the students shown in this photo.
In addition to that, some students also choose to spend their free time at school working on projects for school programs. For example, some may be found working on creating small crocheted items for a school organization.
While other students work, the strum of guitars and ukeleles fills the classroom as other students practice their musical skills. Some students use their free time to learn new songs on their instruments while also taking the opportunity to learn from more skilled people in the field.
During their free time, many students also choose to play mobile games as a way to unwind from their classes. One popular game among the students is Brawl Stars. Whether it be during lunch breaks, or other free periods, it's not uncommon to see students around the school playing mobile games with each other.
While many students use school computers for their school work, some would rather use them for their own entertainment instead. For example, some students could be found playing computer games during their own class time instead of completing their assigned work.
As students move from classroom to classroom or take a break to use the restroom, they may occasionally come across other students from JROTC doing their stretches and physical training outside.
As the final bell rings, students quickly gather their belongings and make their way to their buses, excited to finally rest at home. While the school day is over, many students still have after-school activities to attend like sports practices or club meetings. Looking forward to the next day, things such as new lessons, projects, and activities can be expected.
